Thanks so much for stopping by. My name is Bonnie Ellison and I am the love behind Mummy-n-Me Photography. I am so fortunate to be a wife and mummy to two little poppets, Benjamin, aged eight and six year old Ayrlie. Back in 2007 I had a dream, to capture the bond between mothers and their children. I had just become a new mum myself and realised that the time of snuggles, spit up and bare bottoms would end rather quickly. What did I have to capture this? To remember those little fingers, wrapped around my own? The cute little faces they pull and sweet noises they make? Well at the time, only a few images of me, hair matted, no makeup, sleep deprived with spit up on my shirt to show for it. (sometimes picking up the camera is not on our husband’s priority list!).
This was expressed by most other mums I knew, so, I decided to take matters into my own hands and in 2009 Mummy-n-Me was born. I’m an on-location and natural light photographer. I work hard to create a relaxed, fun session for your family. Our children grow up so fast, sometimes it’s hard to remember them as helpless little bundles, new from the hospital. That’s why I believe it’s important to capture them now, whatever their age and to preserve tomorrows memories..
