Usually our family portraits are super fancy, lots of hair and make-up and full sets that take me months to prepare! All of which I love and adore but when my favourite supplier introduced their wooden block prints I needed something asap! It was Friday afternoon so I sprung it on the family that the next day, we would be heading to the park for a quick session so I could fulfill my dream of having a beautifully large collection of wooden blocks on my wall! Unfortunately, the weather had other ideas and it was pouring rain almost all day! Determined, we headed there anyway. It was soggy, the tripod kept sinking, I stood on and ripped my dress (actually it was borrowed from a friend) and it drizzled most of the time. We had about 25 min of total shooting time but I was stoked with the end results. Mission completed and my wall is now adorned with awesomeness!
